Based in Bookham, Surrey, TLMusic is run by pianist/arranger Trevor Lomas who has many years experience as a dance accompanist and arranger, working at several of the UK's most respected theatre schools and the London headquarters of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). He has worked regularly as a tap and ballet exam accompanist for ISTD registered schools both in the UK and Europe.

As well as producing the Platinum Tap series of CD's for tap and stage choreography, TLMusic arranges and records backing-tracks to your specifications for all aspects of dance (examinations, festivals, shows), particularly the new IDTA Musical Theatre and GCSE syllabi. For singers and cabaret artistes, as a working musician with his duo Misty Blue, Trevor fully understands the importance of obtaining the best tracks available. With well over 25 years experience of musical arranging, he guarantees that a personalised arrangement will be one of the best you will own. Additionally, any arrangement you commission will not be made available to anybody else.

TLMusic can also edit your existing MIDI/audio file backing tracks … we undertake from the simplest to the most complex editing on both types of file, customising to your instructions.  A new service we are now offering is to transfer your old recordings to CD  (from cassette and record).  During this procedure, we can also 'clean up' recordings (remove hiss, cracks, pops etc) prior to the final transferance to CD.

All CD's and backing tracks are produced entirely at the TLMusic studio … from the musical arranging, recording and copying, to the packaging artwork, design and printing. Keeping the whole process 'in-house' ensures maintainance of the highest possible technical standards, and together with use of the latest recording software and the best quality recording media, CD's and backing tracks of outstanding quality result.
